Social Media Manager
JOB TITLE: Social Media Manager (Full-Time)
DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing
REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer
The Utah Warriors is a founding member of Major League Rugby now in its fourth year of operation. With a focus on Community, Family, Tradition and Respect the Warriors are building a staff of diverse individuals who work tirelessly to bring this young franchise and brand forward as one of the most respected teams, staff, and customer-facing entities in all of sports.
We are looking for a talented Social media manager to manage our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original content, including video, managing posts, and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing and sales goals.
As a social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital strategies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication and writing skills. You should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic, customer engagement, and conversions.
Responsibilities
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos, and news)
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Collaborate with sales and high performance to promote team initiatives
- Communicate with followers, respond to messages and comments in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout)
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years work experience as a social media manager
- Hands-on experience in content management
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of online marketing channels

Freelance Videographer / Editor
JOB TITLE: Freelance Videographer / Editor (Part-Time / Retainer / DOE)
DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing
REPORTS TO: Marketing Lead
The Utah Warriors is a founding member of Major League Rugby now in its fourth year of operation. With a focus on Community, Family, Tradition and Respect the Warriors are building a staff of diverse individuals who work tirelessly to bring this young franchise and brand forward as one of the most respected teams, staff and customer-facing entities in all of sports.
The Warriors are looking for someone who understands how to balance the need for solid production quality against the equally urgent needs for speed in generating video content. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the ability to deliver finished videos in days, not weeks, producing video content to preview and highlight games, and for content series. The types of video we are looking to produce include interviews with athletes, editing games footage, and sizzle videos.
Responsibilities
- Work with our marketing team to plan and film videos for use on YouTube (including live streaming), our website, and other social media channels
- Edit a high volume of content
- Efficiently gathering feedback from stakeholders
- Working with on-air and voiceover talent
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of post-production editing experience
- 3-5 years of solid videography experience
- Understanding how to execute a project brief or script through video production
- Experience working with on-air talent, producers, and production documentation
- Experience collaborating with a creative team and executing independently
- A portfolio showing a variety of work, with sports being a big plus
- The proven ability to engage using video as a vehicle for storytelling
- Strong knowledge of equipment needed to produce high-quality videos, including lighting, sound, and editing

Ticket Account Manager
JOB TITLE: Ticket Account Manager (Part-Time 25-30 Hours per week average)
DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing
REPORTS TO: Chief Revenue Officer

With a focus on Community, Family, Tradition and Respect the Warriors are building a staff of diverse individuals who work tirelessly to bring this young franchise and brand forward as one of the most respected teams, staff and customer-facing entities in all of sports.
About the Internship: The Utah Warriors is looking for a high energy individual to focus on increasing their fan base. This person must possess a positive attitude and ability to adjust quickly to frequent adjustments consistent with a startup franchise and league. Must be willing to step into any role or project needed and work closely with the front office and team staff to provide a fluid, enjoyable experience for all clients and fans.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work primarily with individuals to provide hospitality solutions that best fit their needs
- Meet effort and result criteria established by leadership
- Develop relationships with previous ticket buyers, small business owners, engaged fans etc. to purchase an appropriate ticket package
- Work with team to maximize results within sponsorship and ticket sales and service departments.
- Utilize home games as an ideal way to build relationships, showcase our product and provide support for all aspects of putting on a major event.
- All other duties necessary as part of a startup sports franchise and league.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Internship credit possible for college Juniors and Seniors working toward a bachelor’s degree)
- Fundamental understanding of basic computer programs
- Tireless work ethic and ability to communicate with a diverse setting of individuals each day
- Ability to present to corporate executives
