PAUL WALDROP, UTAH WARRIORS SEASON TICKET HOLDER —
Being part of Warriors Nation and a season ticket holder is so much fun! My first real introduction to rugby was in the Spring of 2019, when the Utah Warriors offered us tickets to one of their games. Another local team in a different sport folded operations, and the Warriors were there with an invitation into their community. I did some research on how rugby is played and even watched a couple of games on YouTube before my first Warriors game at Zions Bank Stadium.
I was so impressed with how athletic, fluid and exciting the games are that I ended up attending three more games that season and became a season ticket holder for 2020! The 2020 season started out fantastic! We got to watch the team play in Las Vegas and several times on TV before… well, we all know how the rest of 2020 has been. But you know what? The Warriors stood by their promises, transferred tickets to 2021 and have continued to grow and support the rugby community in Utah.
TESTIMONIALS FROM MY FAMILY ABOUT THEIR WARRIORS EXPERIENCES:
Marissa (wife): “It’s a fun thing to do as families! Rugby’s more fun to watch than football because it moves at a faster pace and progresses more.”
Ammon: “The games are fun and exciting events! it’s a nice time with my family.”
Braeden: “It was exciting and fun.”
Kaleb: “I like watching them because they’re a good team, and I like how they play rugby. The games are more exciting than other sports I’ve been to. They also taught us at a kids clinic, and we had fun learning rugby skills.”
Parker: “My favorite thing is seeing them play, and I like the Warriors logo. I really liked when I got to practice at a kids rugby clinic. Coach Shaun is my favorite coach.”
As you can see, rugby and the Utah Warriors have something for just about everyone. We’re excited to be a part of the community, and we’re looking forward to many great experiences in the years to come with Utah Warriors Rugby!
