Nicholas Feakes of the Gold and the Man of the Match scored three trys, the first player in the league to score three trys in a match this season. Logan Daniels scored in the 59th minute for the Warriors, but it was Feakes third an final score in the 79th minute with the Warriors leading 19-16 that put the game away.
The NOLA Gold now move to 4-1 on the season and remain the highest scoring team in the league. The Utah Warriors move to 1-2-1 on the season but do pick up on bonus point for staying under a 7-point loss.

“Weather is never an excuse but both teams had to adjust their game plans given field and ball conditions. We both made good adjustments and it was a tight match across the board. New Orleans is a sound team top to bottom and this is a tough loss for us” said Warriors Head Coach Alf Daniels.

Despite frigid temperatures and three-inches of snow, the final in-game attendance was 1,447 with over 2,800 tickets sold.
