Utah Warriors announce official partnership with the Malouf Foundation
Salt Lake City, UT—March 10, 2020. The Utah Warriors today announced its partnership with the Malouf Foundation and recognized the organization’s OnWatchTM campaign as the official team charity. The Malouf Foundation and the Utah Warriors will collaborate on a variety of initiatives through OnWatchTMto spread awareness about child sexual exploitation and trafficking.
“We are honored to partner with the Malouf Foundation on their humanitarian efforts,” said Kimball Kjar, GM of the Utah Warriors. “This partnership and the ability to contribute to the Malouf Foundation’s mission is perfectly aligned with our team values —family, community, tradition and respect. We are thrilled to welcome them to the Warriors nation.”
The Malouf Foundation designed OnWatchTMto train people to recognize the signs of child sex trafficking—and then know how to respond. Through the OnWatchTM campaign, fundraising efforts and support from the community, the Malouf Foundation works to ensure every child lives with freedom, justice and dignity—and sleeps in a safe home.
“The Malouf Foundation actively seeks out opportunities to expand our reach with the OnWatchTM campaign,” said Jake Neeley, executive director for the Malouf Foundation. “We appreciate groups like the Utah Warriors for making a commitment to this important cause. When people come together around a shared purpose, that’s when real change happens.”
