
Warriors announce 2018 Season Schedule

Salt Lake City, Utah – The Utah Warriors in conjunction with Major League Rugby announced its inaugural season schedule today. The Warriors will host 7 home matches at the Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah between March and June of 2018. The home schedule includes matches against two professional Canadian rugby teams, Ontario and Alberta and five home matches against Major League Rugby teams.
âThis is it, Major League Rugby is here in the United States and Utah is at the epicenter. We are eager to bring one of the worldâs most watched and fastest sports to our backyard,â said Kimball Kjar, General Manager of the Warriors and former USA National Team and BYU rugby player. âThis is a family-friendly sport with world-class professional athletes that will be played in Utahâs newest stadium. We are confident that we will be contenders for the title and given the rugby community here in Utah, that the Warriors will be a bright new entertainment destination and team for Utah to support.â
The Utah Warriorâs home schedule is as follows with all games being played at the Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman.

Major League Rugby contracts all players within the league. Each team includes players from various national teams including the USAâs famed Eagles. All teams also include players from international professional teams.
The Utah Warriors boast players from both the USA National Team and professional ranks. Countries represented on the Utah Warriors include Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Zimbabwe, South Africa and England. The Warriors are also pleased to have local players from Utah, including collegiate players from BYU and the University of Utah.
