Warriors Announce New Community Rugby Initiative called Warriors Workshop
Herriman, UT–The Utah Warriors have announced a new community rugby initiative called Warriors Workshop. The initiative will feature Warriors coaches and staff sharing and discussing ideas with local rugby community coaches, players, and administrators in a regular forum-style series.
The first two Warriors Workshops are set for February 19th and 26th at 6pm MT at the Zions Bank Real Academy Meeting Room in Herriman, UT. Current Warriors and USA Rugby Asst. Coach Shawn Pittman and former USA Eagle and current Asst. Coach Shaun Davies will lead discussions around set-piece and attack-play respectively during the course of these workshops.
“The Warriors Workshops are a great opportunity for everyone in the rugby community to connect and share ideas,” said Warriors head coach Chris Latham, “No coach can claim to know everything, and that includes us, but we want to provide a forum for all of the rugby community–coaches, players, and others–to come and share ideas on how we can improve as an entire rugby community.”
