Warriors Cast Officially Launches with Jarom Jordan & Jared Banks
Salt Lake City, UT—The Utah Warriors are excited to announce two of Utah’s most experienced and TV and radio personalities Jarom Jordan and Jared Banks, aka “Banksy” as the official TV and media personalities for the Utah Warriors leading into the 2020 season.
The pair will officially kick off their first media format together with the Warriors Cast with Jarom and Banksy this Friday, November 22nd.
Jordan, a native Utahn, found his start with rugby calling games for BYUtv in 2009 and was part of the media staff supporting the BYU Rugby team’s first National Championship that same year. With a career that spans radio and TV play-by-play on some of BYUtv’s most-watched and listened-to shows like BYU SportsNation and others and with his production experience, Jordan brings a local but experienced hand to the Warriors commentary booth.

Jordan will be in his third year of calling the play-by-play for the Utah Warriors in the coming 2020 season.
“I’m thrilled to continue to be a part of the Utah Warriors organization as the play-by-play,” Jordan said, “And our new podcast “Warriors Cast” will be must-see each week with an insiders look at the team each week. Banksy is a great addition to the crew and will quickly become a fan favorite. The team and league are growing and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
Sitting in the color commentary chair for the Warriors in the 2020 season will be local radio stalwart, Jared Banks. To his thousands of fans on Utah’s most-listened-to new country radio station KBULL 93.3, “Banksy” is one of Utah’s top radio personalities having been nominated for ACM Morning Show Personality of the Year, CMA Radio Station of the Year and the NAB’s Marconi Award for Station of the Year all in 2018 and 2019. He was also part of the team that won the 2018 ACM Station of the Year.
Banksy was born in California and later moved to New Zealand as a teenager. Having played the game of rugby while in New Zealand, but also for over a decade here in Utah Banksy is a knowledgeable veteran with all things rugby—international, national, and local.

“It’s exciting to be a part of Warriors Nation,” Banksy said, “As the game of rugby continues to grow in America. With real star power and the ability to entertain, our sport is poised to explode!”
The first edition of the Warriors Cast with Jarom and Banksy airs this Friday with future editions airing every other week during the pre-season and weekly during the season. Warriors Cast with Jarom and Banksy will be Warriors Nation’s home to news and behind the scenes information on the Utah Warriors, Major League Rugby and even local and international rugby commentary.
Jordan and Banksy will also be in the Warriors TV booth calling the local broadcast games for the Warriors during the 2020 season.
