Warriors Go Cold Versus Rugby United New York
(Salt Lake City, Utah) – Rugby United New York, one of two new members of Major League Rugby came out hot and never looked back as they beat the Warriors 47-21 in the third snowy and cold match in a row.
John Cullen scored two tries and Josh Anderson scored one in the Warriors inconsistent offense. Rugby United was led by number 15, Ben Foden who was announced as the Rockwell Watches Man of the Match. The Warriors were shorthanded without the services of Josh Reeves and Tim Gannon who were both playing internationally.

“New York is a physical, disciplined team and had our number today. It was one of those matches where everything we planned did not go as planned” said Warriors Head Coach Alf Daniels.
“We can see glimpses of where we need to be and where we should be, we committed too many errors and did not play our game. We were also in this situation at this time last year and turned it all around, and I feel confident we will again” said Team Captain John Cullen.

Despite frigid temperatures and another day of consistent snowfall, the final in-game attendance was 1,145 with over 2,200 tickets sold.
