Warriors Selects travel to Georgia to face Rugby ATL’s 404s
Salt Lake City — October 30, 2020. Coming off this past weekend’s home match against the MPD All-Stars, the Warriors Selects travel to Georgia for an away-game Saturday, Oct. 31. The face-off against Rugby ATL’s developmental squad, dubbed the “404s”, will begin at 2pm ET and 12pm MT.
After a hard-fought 13-28 loss to the MPD All-Stars, the Warriors Selects have their sights set on continuing to develop talent against MLR partner Rugby ATL’s development team. The match presents an opportunity for the Selects to play a team with MLR caliber resources in an environment outside of their usual stomping grounds.
“We are very excited for the challenge of playing another MLR academy,” said Brandon Sparks, Director of Rugby for the Warriors. “We have a good balance in the starting XV and on the bench. I’m excited to see what our young guys and MLR hopefuls can do.”
The game will be live-streamed on Facebook. To watch, click here.
