Warriors unveil Cottonwood Canyons Inspired Jerseys
HERRIMAN — The state of Utah holds some of the most stunning scenery in the world, which the Utah Warriors will celebrate starting on May 21 in a match versus the Austin Gilgronis.
The snow-packed mountains of the Cottonwood Canyons, specifically, will be what Utah’s new kits will focus on next month, which will be accented with touches of pine and granite.

“The white base of the Utah Warriors’ city edition uniforms represents the Greatest Snow on Earth which draws thousands of people around the world into Utah’s mountains for skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports,” according to the team’s press release. “The pine green stripes… represent the pine trees found in Utah’s Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Just like the pine trees weather snowstorms, summer heat and all other elements, the people of Utah continue to weather any challenge they face, from Earthquakes to pandemics.”
The Warriors have had to weather a lot of challenges this season, with coaching changes and injuries to key players highlighting some of those challenges. The result has been a tough 2-7 start of the season which hopes to be turned around come Saturday when the Warriors host the Seattle Seawolves.
As for the granite, it harkens back to Utah’s pioneering history, specifically the granite stone hauled away from the canyons in helping construct the historic Salt Lake City Temple.
Not only are they for sale, but they help support a good cause as well!
