Warriors Wednesday : Fan Appreciation
Warriors Nation,
The last three weeks have seen some exciting games of rugby on the pitch, but also some exciting things off the pitch as well.
This past weekend the Warriors hosted the MLR-leading San Diego Legion and pushed them in a hard-fought battle for the full 80 minutes, but came up just short in the end.

Within that game however we saw the BYU Women’s Rugby Team be recognized for their 2019 National Championship. We also had the opportunity to recognize the many the NIT Boys and Girls High School Champions that were in Utah this past weekend. It was really fun to see these up-and-coming rugby stars shine and have some fun at a Utah Warriors game.

Above all, as we look to host our final game of the 2019 season on Saturday, June 1st at 6pm as we host the Houston Sabercats in another CBS Sports Network broadcast Game of the Week, we’re excited to pay our respects to our growing Warriors Nation fan base.
Warriors Nation has been with this team through thick and thin and through the warm and the cold. And we want to show our appreciation for all that you do to help us build this great team here in Utah.
As such, we’re looking forward to recognizing the “1st XV” Season Ticket Holders and our Warriors XV Club members at the halftime of this upcoming game and we hope you’ll join us in thanking these individuals for their support next Saturday.
As a lead-in to this Fan Appreciation weekend we’ll also be holding our 2nd Annual Pies & Tries event at Zions Bank Stadium Friday, May 31st at 6pm where fans of all ages can come spend time with the players and staff. Autographs, games, entertainment, food and fun will be available. And did I mention that authentic Kiwi Meat Pies will be given to the first 100 fans?! And everyone who comes out will get a Buy-One-Get-One FREE voucher to the June 1st game.
We hope that Warriors Nation knows how much their support means to us and we hope you continue to come cheer this team on as we look to finish 2019 strong! Thank you Warriors Nation! See you June 1st!
Go Warriors!
