Fisher, Tyler

Tyler Fisher, a center for the Utah Warriors, is from Westville, Durban, South Africa and attended Westville Boys’ High School. Growing up, he played youth rugby for the Sharks from 2009-2014, for the U16s in the 2009 Grant Khomo Week and for the U19s Provincial Championship in 2012. He attended the University of South Africa from 2012-2015 where he graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in marketing and management. Fisher was selected for the South Africa U20s tour in 2013 where he traveled to Argentina. He made his debut with the Sharks in the Vodacom Cup against the Border Bulldogs, making 9 appearances for the Sharks XV between 2012 and 2015. He also helped the Leopards win the First Division Currie Cup in 2015. During the 2016-2017 season, he played with the Pumas. Then, in the 2017-2018 season, he played with the South West District Eagles. In 2019, he played for West Harbour in the Shute Shield competition in Australia.
