Gannon Moore

Gannon Moore is from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. His older brother introduced him to rugby, which he began playing in 2015, for Sioux Falls High School. Moore played rugby for the rest of his high school years and attended Southwest Minnesota State University on a football scholarship.

After graduating from SMSU with a Bachelor of Science Exercise, Moore  joined the Kansas City Blues. During his stint with the Kansas City Blues, the side played in the Denver Stars three years in a row and won the Rugby Town 7s tournament back-to-back in 2015 and 2016. Moore was invited to play in the USA OTC 7s in 2015 and played for the Denver Stampede before moving south to Orewa, Auckland, New Zealand, to play for the Silverdale Rugby Club.

In March of 2017, Moore was brought into the North Harbour Mite 10 Cup training squad. He represented North Harbour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Manila, Philippines. November 2018, saw Moore making his USA Eagles debut against the Maori All Blacks and his first official cap against Manu Samoa.

Rugby aside, Moore met his fiancée in  while in New Zealand. He also enjoys traveling, hiking, the New Zealand beach life, reading and playing World of Warcraft.
