Mo’ungaloa, Huluholo

Huluholo Mo’ungaloa, a second-year prop for the Utah Warriors, left Tonga after his senior year of high school. He arrived in the United States in 2008 to attend St. Mary’s College of California for communications studies. During college, he played rugby for the Gaels and then transferred to the San Francisco Golden Gate for PRP and later, Lifewest.

Mo’ungaloa was selected for the USA Islanders team for a friendly match against the Saracens Rugby team. In 2017, he was tapped for the US Selects and promoted to the national team, the USA Eagles, playing in both the 2017 November Tours and the 2018 ARC Tours. 2019 was his first season as a Warrior.
