Team

Lance Williams, a flanker for the Utah Warriors, was born in Hawaii but raised in Western Samoa. At age 12, his family moved back to Kalihi, Hawaii where he lettered in multiple high school sports. As a linebacker, he played football at the University of Hawaii where he became a team captain his junior and senior year. He has played rugby for both the West Valley Lions and the Utah Select 7s.

A fan of athletes like Ray Lewis, Clay Matthews and the Tuilagi brothers, Williams believes that being a Utah Warrior is part of living the dream, which includes one day representing either Samoa through the Manu Samoa or the United States through the Eagles.

Williams was named to the First-Team All-MLR following a career year in 2022.
