Logan Daniels

Logan Daniels was born in Hamilton, New Zealand and grew up playing both rugby league and rugby union. He was also a Waikato Rugby representative right throughout high school, making the New Zealand U-17s squad.

In his final year of high school, Daniels transferred to Hamilton Boys’ High School,  where he continued playing rugby. That year, his team won the Saint World Cup for secondary schools, won the Super 8 Competition, Chiefs Regionals and were runners up for the nationals. He also made the Chiefs U-18 squad.

Following high school, Daniels came to Utah to play for Highland Rugby, which won the nationals. After that season, Daniels returned to Hamilton and played premier rugby for Fraser Tech, which won the Waikato Breweries Shield. He then took a hiatus of two years to serve a mission in Perth, Australia. At the completion of his service, Daniel resumed his rugby career, playing for Marist Rugby Club, which won the Waikato Breweries Shield three years running.

Daniels then returned to Utah to join the Warriors. Outside of rugby, Daniel works in civil construction and likes hanging out with his wife, dog or playing his other game passion : Fortnite.
