Caleb Meyer, a first-year flanker for the Utah Warriors, is from Lake Mills, Wisconsin and attended Lakeside Lutheran High School. He then attended the University of Utah after his commitment with the U.S. Marines ended. During his time at the University of Utah from 2015-2018, he was on the dean’s list every semester and played rugby. Meyer was nationally recognized as a prop but also played lock and flanker for the Utes. In 2015, he was a D1A West All-Conference Second Team selection. He attended the Rugby Utah Olympic Development Academy Combine in 2016 and was invited to train with the Academy. In 2018, Caleb was selected to the PAC All-Conference team and the Collegiate All-Americans as a prop. He also played for the Rugby Utah 7s.
Meyer joined NOLA Gold during the 2019 MLR season and played 21 minutes in 2 matches. He had 1 carry for 21 meters and made 7 tackles. He also played in a preseason match on December 5 against USA Rugby South and played for the New Orleans Rugby Club.
