Rob Povey, a first-year fly-half and fullback for the Utah Warriors, is from Northampton, England and attended Spratton Hall School and the Rugby School, where he graduated in 2015. He then attended Oxford Brookes University. Povey played rugby at the Spratton Hall School, the Rugby School, Oxford Brookes University and the Northampton Saints Academy. In 2017, he played for Bedford Athletic, as well as representative rugby for the Prairie Wolf Pack. Povey’s mother is a native of Montreal, making him Canada eligible. He has represented the Wolf Pack since 2017 in the Canadian Rugby Championship. He was a part of the Canadian centralised programme from January 2017-September 2018 where he then joined Coventry for the 2018-2019 season. In 2019, he played for Sale FC on loan and will now play for the Utah Warriors in 2020.
